The mission of the Connecticut Occupational Therapy Association (ConnOTA) is to support a professional community for its members. ConnOTA serves the interest of its members, represents the profession to the public, and advances the profession through legislative advocacy.  (Adapted from: American Occupational Therapy Association, Inc. Vision Statement, Feb 11, 2004)

CONNOTA is made up of an Executive board and Special Interest Sections.

The executive board consists of voting and non-voting members.  The voting members include the president, vice-president, treasurer, secretary, and two members at large.  The non-voting members consist of a newsletter editor, the AOTA RA rep and alternate, the SIS chairperson and the SIS liasons.

Each board member term will be for two years with an additional 3 months of attending meetings as a consultant for the new board.
